HAAGEN DAZS

Objective

A high value reward to incent customers to increase their Haagen Dazs purchase to $10 versus their normal spend for Valentines Day.

Solution

An alliance with Red Envelope, a unique gift buying site and a division of Provide Commerce, which was also targeting the same female audience.  Gamma was able to negotiate an offer where millions of consumers who spent $10 on Haagen Dazs would receive a unique code instantly at check-out via Catalina for a $20 Red Envelope Gift Certificate (no minimum spend/shipping and handling included).  The result was a successful sales and display program for Haagen Dazs that was repeated for a second year.  Red Envelope benefitted from being included in Haagen Dazs’ advertising and point of sale displays, and received significant trials and many new customers because of the program.
