Objective

Generate incremental merchandising at Supervalu and banner stores for Nestle seasonal items during a key Thanksgiving period.

Solution

A strategic alliance with Butterball Turkey via a Catalina executed in-store shopper-marketing program. Consumers who purchased any 4 Nestle items from a selected list of seasonal items, as well as a whole Butterball Turkey, received a $10 cash certificate towards their next shopping visit at any Supervalu store. The promotion was featured throughout the store, on in-store circulars, national FSI, and was so successful it ran two years in a row.
